Updated: Nov 27, 2021

My friend and I went to this exhibition at Mori Art Museum featuring the famous "Kaws". The exhibit presents more than 150 artworks that includes the famous giant sculptures, paintings, graphic and product designs, and more... KAWS is inspired by popular childhood cartoons such Mickey Mouse, the Simpsons, Elmo, Snoopy, spongebob and more... Th artist is famous for having art figures that has crosses on each eyes. I like his art because of the vivid colors he used with his paintings. His artworks tells you about familiarity but at the same time different.

Upon entering you will be greeted with this huge sculpture .

and then on the next room,

moving on to the next room are his works and collaboration with famous brands and prints.

on the next one are his works from popular childhood cartoon characters....

One of my favorite... because Elmo is my childhood cartoons...

and of course every 90's kids knows the famous Snoopy.

the famous huge sculptures

and theres an interactive part where you can draw with your friend

and my favorite of all.... because of the bright colors that were used in the painting.

after the exhibit you can see the Tokyo with those big buildings and all....

Love,

Klarisse
